This program invites you to discover the ancient capital of the Inca empire; it begins in the city of Cusco with a temperate climate at an altitude of 3400 meters above sea level, we will visit Moray an ancient and wonderful Inca biological laboratory, we will enter the Sacred Valley where the Inca settlements are located as checkpoints before entering the “Inca Trail” that will lead us to the citadel of Machupicchu.

ITINERARY
Arrival to Cusco – City Tour
We welcome you upon arrival at the international airport of Cusco, the reception is in charge of our staff for your transfer to the Hotel, where we will serve an aromatic coca tea stimulating for the altitude, in the afternoon we will visit the Inca capital.
We start with the tour of the city, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral which has paintings of the Cuzco school and many treasures of jewels, silver and precious stones, then we go to the convent of Santo Domingo, Temple of the Sun or Q’oricancha.
The excursion continues outside the city to visit the Inca complexes of Q’enqo and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on top overlooking the city of Cusco, the huge stones of the outer walls of the complex were carved and joined with amazing precision, some of these stones exceed 09 feet / 10 in height and weigh more than 120 tons.
In the afternoon you will have the option to visit the city of Cusco with its beautiful and very traditional streets from the Inca era and the colonial contrast.

CUSCO- MORAY & SALT MINES- CUSCO
RToday we will go to the picturesque town of Maras, a district in the province of Urubamba, 52 km from the city where the most important salt mines of the region are located, having been exploited since the Inca period and the viceroyalty period.
We will continue with our visit to the wonderful Inca laboratory “Moray” where there are circular terraces of different sizes.
To end this beautiful day we will visit the handicraft market of Chincheros where we will find the remains of the hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui, its beautiful temple built on Inca foundations.
Here originally it has been dedicated to the bartering of agricultural products between the villagers of the valley and the high parts. Offers of handicrafts and textiles made in the purest pre-Columbian style.
Return to Cusco and the afternoon free.

CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO
Today we will travel to the mythical “Sacred Valley of the Incas” to discover the archaeological center of Pisac, we will descend to visit the traditional market, where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of the artisans.
We will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba with all the local products of the Sacred Valley to continue on our way to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, a place built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of the indigenous peoples of the jungle.
We take a walk through the streets of the town that have preserved the traces of the old military, religious and cultural center, since the time of the Inca empire.
Return to Cusco.

CUSCO – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
Today we will realize the dream of a life.
Ready for the adventure, at the indicated time we will leave with mobility in the direction of the train station (San Pedro, Poroy or Ollantaytambo), where we will board the train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, appreciating the wonderful landscape full of vegetation, flora , green mountains and the Urubamba river.
Upon arrival our guide will be waiting for you, and you will board the bus to ascend for 30 minutes to reach the incredible wonder of the world “The Sacred City of the Incas” Machupicchu, passing the main control the visit begins, considered a jewel of Inca architecture: with neighborhoods, squares, royal houses, extensive agricultural areas, roads and observatories surrounded by lush semi-tropical vegetation and rediscovered on July 24, 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham.
After the visit, we return to the town of Aguas Calientes, have free time to then take the train service to (San Pedro, Poroy or Ollantaytambo) and from there by transport to Cusco.

CUSCO – HOME RETURN
The last day in the city of Cusco; After breakfast they will have free time to make some souvenir purchases and more, at the agreed time we will transfer them to the airport and the farewell to all our work team.
