Lunch will be served at the charming Hacienda Sarapampa, renowned for its hospitality and gourmet proposal inspired by the valley’s giant corn. Later, we will continue to Urubamba, where your luxury hotel awaits in an environment of serenity and natural beauty.

ATV SALINERAS & MORAY & DELUXE PICNIC

After breakfast, embark on a vibrant day beginning with an exciting ATV adventure through the rural roads and ever-changing landscapes of the Sacred Valley, passing farmlands, Andean villages, and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. The route will take you to Moray, the enigmatic Inca agricultural laboratory whose circular terraces reveal the ingenuity and vision of this ancient civilization.

We will then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, a natural wonder formed by thousands of white salt pools that, under the Andean sun, create a dazzling mosaic of light and color. At midday, delight in a deluxe picnic set in a unique location: the colonial church of Tiobamba or the open pampas of Maras, where signature local cuisine and organic products come together for an unforgettable lunch. The afternoon will be free to relax at your hotel, enjoying the serenity of the valley and the snowcapped peaks guarding the horizon.

CHINCHERO, TEXTILE ART & ANDEAN PACHAMANCA LUNCH

Today you will enjoy an authentic immersion in the community of Chinchero, an Andean village where history and tradition remain alive in every gesture and every woven thread. We will begin with a textile art demonstration, where master artisans will reveal secrets passed down through generations: from shearing and spinning the fiber to natural dyeing with plants and minerals, while explaining the differences in texture, quality, and use between llama wool and the fine alpaca fiber.

You will have the opportunity to take part in activities that connect you with the essence of Andean life, such as walking alongside llamas along ancient trails bordering agricultural terraces, enjoying sweeping views of the valley, or hand-painting a Torito de Pucará, an emblematic piece symbolizing prosperity and protection in Andean homes.

Lunch will be an experience in itself: a traditional pachamanca prepared by a local chef, slowly cooked underground with hot stones, where meats, tubers, and aromatic herbs merge into a feast of ancestral flavors. This banquet will be served by the serene shores of Piuray Lagoon, a mirror-like body of water surrounded by hills and farmland, considered one of the most beautiful and peaceful landscapes in the Sacred Valley.

VISIT THE LAST INCA TOWN (OLLANTAYTAMBO) – LUNCH AT ALQA

Today we will delve into Ollantaytambo, known as the “living Inca town,” one of the few places of the ancient empire that has been continuously inhabited since ancestral times. We will begin with a visit to its impressive archaeological site, a majestic fortress built with massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together, whose terraces rise toward the mountains, offering spectacular views of the valley.

As we walk through its temples, plazas, and ancient storehouses, we will learn about its importance as a religious, agricultural, and military center, as well as the battles fought here against the conquerors. We will then stroll through the town’s narrow cobblestone streets, which still preserve the original Inca urban layout. At every step, the sound of water flowing through stone canals accompanies the journey, while centuries-old façades and wooden doorways reveal stories of generations that have kept their traditions alive.

Lunch will be enjoyed at Alqa, a restaurant that pays homage to Andean cuisine by fusing local ingredients —such as giant corn, quinoa, and highland aromatic herbs— with contemporary techniques that enhance their flavors. In a warm setting, surrounded by art and details evoking local culture, each dish will be a sensory experience, blending tradition, creativity, and elegance.

BELMOND HIRAM BINGHAM TRAIN – OVERNIGHT AT THE SANCTUARY LODGE

In the morning, we will board the exclusive Belmond Hiram Bingham train, a railway gem recognized as one of the most luxurious in the world. From the red-carpet boarding, the welcome with sparkling wine, live music, and the warmth of the staff will mark the beginning of an unforgettable journey.

With its elegant 1920s style and panoramic windows, the train invites you to admire the majesty of the Sacred Valley: rivers meandering alongside the tracks, Inca terraces defying time, and snow-capped peaks dominating the horizon. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a private transfer will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you will check in at the only hotel next to the sanctuary—a privilege reserved for a few. After a unique sunrise in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu, one of the most sacred and enigmatic places in the world. Together with your private guide, you will spend the morning exploring the main sectors of the citadel: the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the agricultural terraces, and the mysterious enclosures that continue to inspire wonder. Each explanation will reveal not only the Incas’ architectural mastery but also their profound spiritual connection with nature and the cosmos.

Today will be devoted to exploring the main historical and cultural treasures of Cusco. We begin at Qoricancha, the most important Inca temple dedicated to the Sun God, whose perfectly carved stone foundations still remain beneath the colonial structure of the Santo Domingo convent. We then continue to the Casa Sullca Museum, a space that offers a deep understanding of the Andean worldview through original pieces, stories, and traditions that are still alive today.

Next, we head to the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, a ceremonial center built with massive stone walls that defy explanation due to their size and precision. From here, breathtaking views of Cusco unfold.

Returning to the historic center, we will stroll through the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by colonial churches and mansions that reflect the fusion of two worlds. We will also visit the Cathedral and admire the famous Twelve-Angled Stone, one of the finest examples of Inca architecture in the historic quarter.

The afternoon is free to wander the cobblestone streets, shop for local handicrafts, or relax in a café overlooking the colonial balconies.
