How do I get there?
To get to know this impressive place we will go to the capital of the Madre de Dios region, Puerto Maldonado. This city is considered the entrance to the southeast side of the Peruvian jungle.
Once you are in Puerto Maldonado we will take a boat to go to the city of Infierno for about 2 hours approximately. At this point we will pass a control to enter the Tambopata National Reserve (It has a cost of 30 soles).
If you thought that this is our final point do not despair, once you are there, you will be transferred by boat for about an hour and a half to the tourist areas visitable, including Lake Sandoval.
Traveler’s Tip:
The best time to visit is during the dry season, between April and October, when the climate ranges from 15° to 35°C.
