Kuelap is located in the province of Luya, is currently the main cultural and tourist attraction and one of the seven that make up the Amazon region. The northeastern Andes were the place chosen by the members of the Chachapoyas culture, responsible for the construction that is shaped like an inverted truncated cone that has administrative, religious, ceremonial and even housing spaces of this enigmatic city where they say it was a city strategically located and guarded by large walls, but at the same time surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
