TRIP OVERVIEW
Sucre is the womb of the Republic, a Valley of low mountains and a mild climate, it defies the nickname of “White City” with its enormous color.
In it you will be able to see colonial passages of enormous architectural value, various monuments and temples, a site of dinosaur footprints and a beautiful traditional textile market.
With an architectural system that bares its living history, the Villa Imperial de Potosí still has vestiges of what was one of the most populated cities in the world during part of the 16th century. You will know where and how the first currency for world use was made, the history of its hill full of silver, its beautiful streets, houses, squares, monasteries and churches; and you will be able to enter a huge mine to learn how they work, excellent are their customs, rituals and beliefs, and to deeply understand the history of Potosi told by their own workers.

DESTINATIONS
ITINERARY
SUCRE:
Today they will take the flight from the city of Santa Cruz to the city of Sucre.
We are waiting for you at the Sucre airport.
Upon arrival we will take a walk through the city; visiting the House of Liberty, Parque Bolívar, Palace of Justice, Main Square, Cathedral and ASUR, San Felipe de Neri convent, La Recoleta viewpoint.
Later we went to the Parador Santa María la Real hotel to have dinner and rest at the hotel.
VISIT POTOSI:
Today after breakfast we will check out of the hotel.
At 08:30 am we will transfer to the city of Potosi, to visit the Casa de la Moneda museum and stroll through the colonial streets of Potosi.
We will have lunch at the Empedradillo restaurant where you can taste the traditional Kalapurka or volcanic soup, we continue visiting the mines of Cerro Rico de Potosi.
Finally we transfer you to the hotel Museo Cayara where you will have dinner and rest.
MUSEUMS & SALT PALACE HOTEL:
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of the Hotel Museo Cayara and then transfer to the city of Uyuni with a stop to visit the mining center of Pulacayo.
Upon arrival at the Palacio del Sal hotel, you will have lunch at the Tika Palace, then you will have the afternoon free to enjoy the hotel and its facilities.
You will have dinner at the Tika Palace and then rest and recharge your batteries for the next day.
UYUNI SALAR:
After a delicious breakfast, at 10.00 a.m., we transfer you in private transport to the Train Cemetery, locomotives of the XIX and XX centuries. You will also visit the town of Colchani, the handicraft plant and local handicrafts.
Afterwards you will enter the Gran Salar visiting: Ojos de Agua, Montículos de Sal, Playa Blanca, Isla de las Banderas.
We will visit the work of Gaston Ugalde: The Stairway to Heaven and the Dakar Monument.
We will have lunch in Apthapi in the middle of the Great Salt Flat to continue visiting the Incahuasi Island where you can appreciate the famous Giant Cactus and the Petrified Coral Arch, ideal moment for photos in the middle of the Salt Flat while enjoying the sunset with snacks and a round of wine.
Night at Hotel Palacio de Sal
FAREWELL:
This last day you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at Hotel Palacio de Sal.
Free time to prepare suitcases.
Check out at 12:00 noon,
when ready we will transfer you from the Palacio de Sal hotel to the AIRPORT or UYUNI.
Farewell to the team and return home.
