Today you will board your flight from Santa Cruz to the elegant city of Sucre, known for its colonial architecture and distinguished atmosphere.

We’ll begin with a private tour of the city’s main attractions: the historic Casa de la Libertad, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Palace of Justice, and the elegant Simón Bolívar Park. After breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel and set off on our private trip to the historic city of Potosí.

Our first stop will be the iconic Casa de la Moneda, one of South America’s most important colonial museums, where you’ll learn about the history of the mining wealth that shaped the continent’s destiny.

We’ll continue with a stroll through Potosí’s historic center, admiring its colonial streets, plazas, and churches that reflect the splendor of the former Imperial Town.

For lunch, you’ll enjoy a culinary experience at the Empedradillo restaurant, where you can sample the traditional Kalapurka—also known as “volcanic soup”—in an authentic setting.

In the afternoon, we’ll take a guided tour of the mines at the legendary Cerro Rico, a profound and cultural experience that offers insight into the living history of mining in the region, accompanied by specialized local guides.

At the end of the day, we’ll head to the exclusive Hacienda Cayara, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful night’s sleep at one of Bolivia’s most iconic colonial haciendas.

POTOSÍ – UYUNI | JOURNEY TO THE SALT PALACE

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll check out of Hacienda Cayara and set off on our private trip to Uyuni. Along the way, we’ll visit the historic mining town of Pulacayo, an ancient settlement that is part of the industrial heritage of the Bolivian Altiplano.

Upon arrival in Uyuni, you’ll be welcomed at the exclusive Palacio de Sal, a one-of-a-kind accommodation built entirely of salt, where architecture, comfort, and the natural surroundings blend into an exceptional experience.

You’ll enjoy lunch at the Tika Palace restaurant, followed by a free afternoon to relax and explore the hotel’s facilities in an atmosphere of total tranquility and sophistication.

UYUNI | EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE SALAR

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin the day at 10:00 a.m. with a private transfer to the iconic Train Cemetery, where old locomotives from the 19th and 20th centuries tell the story of the Altiplano’s railway history. We’ll continue to the town of Colchani, where you’ll learn about the artisanal salt-harvesting process and discover a selection of authentic local handicrafts.

Next, we’ll enter the majestic Uyuni Salt Flats to visit its main attractions: the Ojos de Agua, the Salt Mounds, Playa Blanca, Isla de las Banderas, the art installation “Stairway to Heaven,” and the Dakar Monument.

In the heart of the salt flat, you’ll enjoy a private Apthapi lunch, a traditional culinary experience reinterpreted with an exclusive twist. The journey continues to Incahuasi Island, home to iconic giant cacti and petrified coral formations. (Access may vary depending on the rainy season.) This will be the perfect setting for creative photographs in a unique environment.

At dusk, you’ll experience one of the most memorable moments of the trip: a private sunset with appetizers and a selection of wines, set against a landscape where the horizon seems endless. Afterward, return to the exclusive Palacio de Sal to rest.
