Upon your arrival in the imperial city of Cusco, you will be greeted by our team and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel, where everything will be ready for your immediate check-in.

In the afternoon, you’ll begin a private tour of Cusco, designed to let you discover its most significant historical treasures at your own pace. You’ll explore the Cathedral and the Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, considered one of the holiest sites of the Inca Empire.

Day 2: Moray & Maras salt mines
CHINCHERO – MORAY & MARAS SALT MINES
We’ll start the day with a visit to the community of Chinchero, where you’ll get an up-close look at Andean textile art. Accompanied by local artisans, you’ll discover ancestral techniques of spinning, natural dyeing, and weaving, preserved over generations.
We’ll continue on to Moray, an impressive complex of circular terraces considered an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, where experiments were conducted with different microclimates to adapt crops.
Next, we’ll head to the Maras Salt Mines, a unique landscape made up of more than 3,000 salt pits that have been mined using traditional methods since pre-Inca times.
After the tour, you’ll enjoy lunch (optional depending on the itinerary) and will then be transferred back to your hotel in Cusco.

Next, you’ll enjoy lunch at a select restaurant in the Ollantaytambo area, featuring local valley produce, in a stunning natural setting.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the imposing fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative structures of the Inca Empire, strategically located to guard access to the valley.
