WELCOME – SACRED VALLEY VISIT

Upon arrival in Cusco, our team will greet you with personalized service and transfer you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will visit Pisaq, an impressive complex of Inca terraces and structures perched high on the mountain, offering majestic views of the Urubamba River and the fertile Andean valley.

Optionally, you may enjoy a gourmet lunch at Hacienda Sarapampa, surrounded by vast cornfields and the warm hospitality of the Andes. The afternoon will be free to rest at your hotel, taking in the pure air, the silence of nature, and the privileged surroundings of the valley.

SALINERAS, MORAY & DISCOVER THE TEXTILE ART OF CHINCHERO

After breakfast, we will head to Moray, an impressive set of circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural experimentation center, where each level created a different microclimate. We will then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular mosaic of thousands of white pools that, under the sun, create a mesmerizing landscape; here, the ancestral tradition of artisanal salt extraction is still preserved.

Finally, we will arrive in Chinchero, a charming Andean village where time seems to have stood still. We will be welcomed by local artisans who will show us traditional weaving and natural dyeing techniques, and later take part in a Pachamanca ceremony, enjoying a lunch of authentic flavors cooked underground, just as the ancient inhabitants of the Andes once did.

VISIT OLLANTAYTAMBO – TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES

The day begins in Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town still inhabited to this day. We will explore its impressive fortress, the stage of epic battles against the conquistadors, and admire the finely carved stone temples that showcase the extraordinary genius of Inca architecture. From the top, the views of the valley and the Urubamba River are simply spectacular.

After enjoying lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley, we will head to the station to board the panoramic train bound for Aguas Calientes. The journey itself is a spectacle: crossing canyons, crystal-clear rivers, and landscapes of mountains draped in lush vegetation. The wide windows of the train allow you to appreciate every detail, while the soothing sound of the river accompanies the ride.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, the afternoon will be free for you to explore its streets filled with handicrafts and cozy cafés, visit the local market, or relax in the famous hot springs that give the town its name. A perfect prelude before our much-anticipated visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

DISCOVER THE HISTORIC SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU

With the first light of dawn, we will board the bus that ascends the mountain to the entrance of the majestic Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will explore the citadel for approximately two hours, discovering its sacred temples, agricultural terraces, and ceremonial squares, while unveiling the mysteries of its construction, its spiritual meaning, and its deep connection with the surrounding landscape.

Afterward, you will have free time to explore at your own pace: walk to the Inca Bridge, visit the Sun Gate, admire the imposing silhouette of Huayna Picchu, or simply sit and absorb the energy and serenity of this one-of-a-kind place.

At the end of the visit, we will descend to Aguas Calientes for a final stroll or lunch on your own before boarding the panoramic train back to Cusco, enjoying the last breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley.

SACSAYHUAMÁN – MUSEO SULLCA – TEMPLO DEL SOL – PLAZA DE ARMAS

We will begin our exploration at the majestic fortress of Sacsayhuamán, a masterpiece of Inca architecture built with colossal stone blocks that fit together with astonishing precision, without the use of mortar. This site was not only a military and ceremonial center but also the stage for important celebrations such as Inti Raymi.

We will then continue to the Sullca Museum, an intimate space that unveils the richness of the Andean worldview, its beliefs, rituals, and the profound connection the Incas maintained with nature and the cosmos. Through artifacts and storytelling, the experience immerses us in a deeply spiritual and symbolic universe.

Our journey will take us next to Qoricancha, the resplendent Temple of the Sun, once covered in golden sheets that reflected the light as a tribute to the god Inti. This sacred precinct, the religious heart of the empire, was later transformed into a colonial convent, merging Inca and Spanish architecture into a single site of cultural fusion. From here, we will descend to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, the historical center of the city, surrounded by colonial churches and elegant mansions with carved balconies. We will also visit the Inka Museum, home to a priceless collection of ceramics, textiles, mummies, and goldsmithing pieces that narrate centuries of history.

Along the way, we will pause to admire the iconic Twelve-Angled Stone, famous for its flawless fit, an enduring testament to Inca engineering mastery. Our day concludes in the charming neighborhood of San Blas, a bohemian corner filled with artisan workshops, art galleries, and cobbled alleys that lead to viewpoints offering unmatched panoramas of Cusco.

FLIGHT CUSCO TO LIMA & INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE

Spend the morning enjoying Cusco at your own pace: wander through its cobbled streets, visit artisan markets to find unique souvenirs, or relax in a charming café while observing the daily life of the city. If you wish, you may also make a short visit to a nearby museum or historical site.

At the scheduled time, our private transportation will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your international flight, carrying with you not only crafts and photographs but also unforgettable memories of a journey that blended luxury, history, and nature.
