ARRIVAL IN LIMA – CITY OF KINGS

Upon your arrival at Lima’s international airport, an English-speaking representative from Peru VIP Travel will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name.

You’ll receive a warm welcome and a complete travel information package before being escorted to the Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Airport hotel, conveniently located just across from the terminal. Your host will assist with the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and comfortable start to your journey.

LIMA – CUSCO FLIGHT & TRANSFER TO WILLKA T’IKA IN THE SACRED VALLEY

A Peru VIP Travel representative will meet you in the lobby of the Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima Airport hotel an hour and a half before your domestic flight. They will assist you with check-out and escort you to the terminal for your flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival, your personal guide will be waiting to take you on a scenic 90-minute drive to your accommodation in the Urubamba Valley. Here, you’ll begin your Willka T’ika Wellness Program—an inner journey inspired by ancestral Andean wisdom.

Today is dedicated to the Root Chakra, an invitation to reconnect with Pachamama, or Mother Earth. Enjoy a guided walk through the Seven Chakra Gardens, where you’ll receive an introduction to Andean symbolism and the spiritual principles that will guide your experience.

Lunch will be a gourmet vegetarian farm-to-table meal, prepared with locally grown organic produce.

In the afternoon, you’ll have a personal consultation with an expert in medicinal plants, who will introduce you to the healing world of native Peruvian herbs and flowers—many of which grow right in Willka T’ika’s sacred gardens.

The day continues with the K’intu Ceremony, a spiritual blessing led by a member of the local Quechua community. This sacred ritual marks the official opening of your retreat, honoring the three realms of the Andean worldview: Ukhu Pacha (inner world), Kay Pacha (earthly world), and Hanan Pacha (upper world).

End the day with a gentle, restorative yoga session designed to align body, mind, and spirit in perfect harmony with your surroundings.

PUMAHUANCA RIVER – WATER CEREMONY

The day begins with an early breakfast at 6:30 a.m., followed by a private transfer into the majestic Andean landscape. After a gentle one-hour hike, you’ll arrive at the Pumahuanca River, a sacred natural setting where the Water Ceremony will take place—an ancestral ritual of purification and gratitude that honors this sacred element flowing in harmony with our emotions.

Surrounded by stunning Andean scenery, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully prepared picnic lunch made with fresh, local ingredients as you soak in the serenity of nature.

Upon returning to the hotel, you’ll be welcomed with a restorative Yin Yoga session focused on slow, meditative postures that encourage introspection and allow renewed energy to flow gently through the body.

As night falls, prepare for a moment of connection and deep relaxation: immerse yourself in a hand-carved stone tub filled with water energized by the Andean sun and infused with aromatic flowers, medicinal herbs, and mineral salts from Maras. Beneath the starry sky of the Milky Way—Ch’askamayu in Quechua—this ritual bath becomes a sacred tribute to feminine energy, creativity, and the fluidity of the soul.

FIRE CEREMONY WITH THE Q’ERO WISDOM KEEPERS

The day begins at 6:30 a.m. with a fluid yoga class designed to activate your inner energy and awaken your vital force through conscious and dynamic movement.

After a nutritious breakfast, you’ll set off on a guided walk to the iconic Maras Salt Mines, an ancient terraced salt extraction system used by local communities for generations. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the land and ancestral wisdom before returning to the retreat center for a nourishing lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll experience a deep and revealing moment: a Coca Leaf Reading guided by Layka, a traditional Andean healer. This sacred encounter offers the chance to receive messages from the soul and connect with the ancient wisdom of the Andes.

As night falls, you’ll take part in the Fire Ceremony with the Q’ero wisdom keepers, a powerful Andean ritual of transformation and purification. This sacred offering honors Pachamama, yourself, and your loved ones—an invitation to release what no longer serves you and create space for renewal and growth.

At the end of these first three days dedicated to the lower chakras, you’ll feel purified, grounded, and empowered—ready to continue your holistic wellness journey with clarity and inner strength.

HEART YOGA – CACAO HEART YOGA – CACAO CEREMONY

The day begins with a session of Heart Yoga, a gentle practice designed to help you reconnect with the elemental forces that unite mind and heart, body and soul. Through conscious, fluid movements, you will open your inner space to experience love, harmony, and emotional balance.

Next, you will receive expert guidance to create your own personalized blend of hydrosols, crafted with natural essential oils. Each oil has unique healing properties, which will be explained by the Willka T’ika wellness team, allowing you to formulate a combination that nurtures your physical and emotional well-being.

After a nourishing lunch, the afternoon will be dedicated to a beautiful Cacao Ceremony. This ancestral ritual combines the preparation and mindful consumption of pure ceremonial cacao with live music, creating a sacred space to open the heart, connect, and joyfully celebrate.

To end the day, you will enjoy a Crystal Light Therapy session, where a combination of color, light, quartz crystals, and music is used to cleanse and realign the chakras, promoting deep healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.

HAMPI YAKU – SOUND HEALING

The sixth day is dedicated to the Throat Chakra, the center of communication, authentic expression, and inner truth.

The day begins with a Mantra Yoga session, a practice that uses sacred sounds and chants to awaken the Self and deepen meditation through physical movement. Chanting mantras calms the mind, enhances concentration, and strengthens breath control, opening the energetic channel to express your true voice.

Next, you’ll enjoy a morning of deep physical detoxification, restoring body and soul in the serene landscape of the Pumahuanca mountains. After this holistic cleanse, take time to relax and renew in the medicinal pool or experience the Hampi Yaku, a sacred bath infused with essential oils from ancestral plants that promote healing and balance.

To close the day, you will take part in a Sound Healing Ceremony, where the harmonious vibrations of quartz bowls, gongs, and sacred instruments help release energetic blockages, align your throat chakra, and guide you toward a state of clarity and inner peace.

OLLANTAYTAMBO – LUNCH AT EL ALBERGUE

After breakfast, you will take a 30-minute drive from the retreat center before ascending an ancient Inca stairway for about 25 minutes to reach a sacred cave. In this space, where remnants of an altar shaped like a chakana (Andean Cross) are still preserved, you will experience a powerful moment of meditation and spiritual connection.

Later, you will explore the town of Ollantaytambo and its majestic archaeological site. This remarkable village retains its original Inca layout and is one of the few places where local families still live in traditional cancha homes, once reserved for Inca nobility.

For lunch, you’ll enjoy a seasonal à la carte menu at one of the village’s best restaurants: El Albergue. Its cuisine blends the finest Peruvian and European flavors, using fresh, organic ingredients grown in its own garden and nearby Sacred Valley farms.

Upon returning to Willka T’ika, you’ll have time to relax with a traditional Andean massage. The center offers a variety of therapeutic treatments crafted with natural ingredients grown in its healing gardens—ideal for revitalizing both body and mind.

AYNI CEREMONY – PARU PARU COMMUNITY

The day begins with an integration meditation, followed by an Ayni Ceremony under an ancient lúcuma tree. For centuries, the Quechua-speaking peoples of the Andes have lived in harmony through Ayni—an ancestral principle of reciprocity meaning “today for you, tomorrow for me.” This core value reflects the interdependence and mutual respect that sustain Andean life.

After breakfast, you’ll board a private vehicle for a scenic one-and-a-half-hour drive to the high-Andean community of Paru Paru. There, you’ll have the valuable opportunity to experience Ayni firsthand—sharing time, knowledge, and connection with members of this traditional community.

Later, you’ll continue to the majestic archaeological site of Pisac, then descend to the charming town of the same name. Enjoy a late lunch and explore its colorful artisan market—renowned for its exquisite selection of textiles and handmade pieces that preserve centuries-old traditions.

VISTADOME TRAIN – INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU – INKATERRA HOTEL

This morning, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you by private vehicle (approximately 20 minutes) to the Ollantaytambo train station, the starting point for Machu Picchu. You will board the Vistadome Train, which features spectacular panoramic windows so you can fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes during the journey.

For those seeking a more authentic and peaceful experience, the one-day Inca Trail is the ideal option. You will disembark from the train about 30 minutes before arriving at Aguas Calientes (the station serving Machu Picchu) and cross a picturesque hanging bridge to reach the small but fascinating Inca archaeological site of Chachabamba.

After a brief visit, you will begin a gradual three- to four-hour ascent to Wiñay Wayna, an exceptional Inca site accessible only on foot. From there, you will continue along the main Inca Trail for approximately two more hours until reaching the legendary Inti Punku—the Sun Gate—where you will behold for the first time an impressive view of Machu Picchu, suspended in time and mist.

Upon arrival at Poroy station, a Peru VIP Travel representative will welcome you and transfer you by private vehicle (approximately 20 minutes) to your hotel in Cusco: Inkaterra La Casona. CUSCO – HISTORIC CAPITAL OF PERU

Begin your morning exploring the city’s most emblematic sites: the majestic Plaza de Armas, the imposing Renaissance-style Cathedral, and the extraordinary stone architecture of Koricancha, also known as the Inca Temple of the Sun. Then continue to the vibrant San Pedro Market, where you’ll be amazed by the dazzling variety of native fruits and unique regional potatoes. Next, head to the outskirts of the city to visit the impressive Inca ruins of Sacsayhuamán, with its enormous stone terraces and panoramic views.

In the afternoon, guided by a local expert, discover Cusco’s most artistic corners. You’ll have time to browse craft shops, visit local artists’ workshops, and relax in cozy cafés before returning to your hotel for your last night in the city.

CUSCO – RETURN HOME

A Peru VIP Travel representative will pick you up at your hotel approximately two hours before your domestic flight and accompany you to the airport to board your flight from Cusco to Lima.

Upon your arrival in Lima, another member of the Peru VIP Travel team will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. They will assist you with the international check-in process and accompany you to the departure area for your flight back home.
