FLIGHT TO LIMA – COLONIAL TOUR – INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE

This morning, we will accompany you to the airport for your return flight to Lima. As the plane crosses the Andes, watch as the majestic peaks give way to the arid coastal landscape that surrounds Peru’s capital. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your Peru VIP Travel host, who will guide you through your final cultural experiences before departure.

We’ll begin with a visit to the prestigious Larco Herrera Museum, located in the quiet district of Pueblo Libre. In this elegant colonial mansion surrounded by blooming gardens, you’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch beneath a pergola of bougainvillea. Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore its exceptional collection of pre-Columbian art, featuring masterpieces in gold, silver, and ceremonial pottery—as well as its unique and fascinating gallery of pre-Inca erotic art. You’ll also have access to its immaculate archaeological storage room, a hidden treasure rarely open to the public.

Next, we’ll head to the heart of Lima’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this private tour, you’ll visit the grand Lima Cathedral, the magnificent San Francisco Convent, and its famous catacombs, which preserve the remains of Lima’s colonial past. We’ll conclude with a visit to Casa Aliaga, a 1535 architectural jewel that has remained in the hands of the same family since the time of the conquest—a living testimony to five centuries of history.

At the scheduled time, your private driver will transfer you comfortably to the airport for your international flight home.

From all of us at Peru VIP Travel, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. We wish you a safe trip and hope to welcome you back very soon!
