VALLE DE LAS ROCAS | PRIVATE EXPEDITION THROUGH THE ALTIPLANO

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll check out and begin our private journey to the most remote and extraordinary landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano.

Our route will take us to Villamar, where we’ll discover historical remnants of the region’s old railway network. We’ll continue on to the Church of San Cristóbal and the small villages of Culpina K and Alota, experiencing the authentic way of life in these Andean communities.

Along the way, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch prepared for the trip, set amidst the open landscapes of the Altiplano.

The experience will continue to the spectacular Valle de las Rocas, a landscape of volcanic formations sculpted by time. We’ll also visit Laguna Catal, Laguna Vinto, and Italia Perdida, each offering unique scenery and an atmosphere of absolute tranquility.

At the end of the day, we’ll arrive at the exclusive Jardines de Mallku Cueva, where you can relax in a remote and idyllic setting. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at the hotel before retiring for the night surrounded by the vastness of the Altiplano.

COLORED LAGOONS & FLAMINGOS | ALTIPLANO LANDSCAPES

After breakfast, we’ll set out on a private excursion to the spectacular Laguna Colorada, renowned for its intense reddish hues and the natural contrast between its waters and the Altiplano landscape.

During the visit, you’ll be able to observe the elegant James’s flamingos, for whom these lagoons serve as one of their primary habitats, creating an exceptional scene in the midst of this remote territory.

We’ll continue on to the Sol de Mañana Geysers, where steam and geothermal formations reveal the region’s intense volcanic activity. The route will take us past Laguna Chalviri and the Polques hot springs, an ideal setting to enjoy nature in complete tranquility.

We’ll enjoy lunch along the way before continuing to the surreal Dalí Valley, characterized by its rock formations and landscapes that evoke a true work of natural art.

Our final stop will be the impressive Laguna Verde, whose emerald hues contrast with the silhouette of the imposing Licancabur Volcano, creating one of the most extraordinary panoramas of the Altiplano.

At the end of the day, we’ll return to Jardines de Mallku Cueva, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful night at this exclusive retreat surrounded by nature.

EXPLORING THE UYUNI SALAR & THE DAKAR MONUMENT

After breakfast, we’ll check out of Jardines de Mallku Cueva to continue our private journey to one of the most extraordinary landscapes on the planet.

The day begins in the town of Colchani, where we’ll discover artisanal salt production and a selection of local handicrafts. We’ll then enter the majestic Gran Salar to explore its main attractions: the Ojos de Agua, the salt mounds, Playa Blanca, and the iconic Dakar Monument.

Amid the vast white expanse, you’ll enjoy a private Apthapi lunch—a culinary experience that connects Andean tradition with this unique natural setting.

We’ll continue on to Incahuasi Island, home to impressive giant cacti and petrified coral formations. (Access may vary during the rainy season depending on conditions in the salt flat.)

Before concluding the tour, you’ll have time to take photos of this surreal landscape. At dusk, you’ll enjoy a private sunset accompanied by wine and appetizers, creating an intimate and memorable moment in the middle of the salt flats.

Finally, we’ll continue our journey to Uyuni.
