We know you’ll probably be a bit tired after your long flight, so we’ll take the stress out of the arrival by bringing you straight to your airport hotel, where you can shake off that post-flight feeling with a refreshing shower and a nap. Relax in the evening and enjoy a good night’s rest before your morning flight to Cusco—the first stop on your Peruvian adventure!

FLIGHT TO CUSCO – VISIT TO THE TOWN OF PISAC

Enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast at the hotel before boarding your morning flight to Cusco. The flight time between the two cities is pleasantly short (less than an hour and a half). The views from the airplane window—starting with the desert coast, then giving way to the towering Andes—are a great way to pass the time.

A Peru VIP Travel host will be waiting for you upon arrival at our Andean airport, and before you even feel the altitude, you’ll be taken straight to the Sacred Valley. Just an hour from Cusco, the authentic Peruvian countryside stretches out on both sides, with cows and sheep grazing peacefully along the roadside. Steep peaks rise dramatically in the distance.

Your journey will take you to the mountain-top ruins above the town of Pisac, where you’ll learn about Inca agricultural practices, including maize and potato cultivation. From here, you can gaze out over the green lands where the Incas once farmed—and where the Quechua people continue to do so today.

From the ruins, you’ll enjoy a peaceful walk through terraces and breathtaking landscapes down to the picturesque town of Pisac, where a delicious lunch awaits. After your meal, Peru VIP Travel will transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the Sacred Valley.

EXPLORE THE SACRED VALLEY – CLIMB TO THE SKYLODGE

Today’s journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas begins with a thrilling ATV ride, taking you across rural trails and farmland at full speed. Once you’ve gotten a feel for the terrain from this high-powered machine on solid ground, it’s time to take off.

Enjoy a freshly prepared gourmet lunch and receive a safety briefing on the harnesses and helmets that will become your second skin tonight. Begin your ascent of what appears to be a steep cliff, guided by steel steps. After climbing 457 meters, you’ll arrive at your exclusive luxury hotel for the night: a glass capsule hanging off the cliffside, offering 300-degree views of the Sacred Valley.

Though it may surprise some, prepare for a well-earned and authentic gourmet dinner, paired with a fine glass of red wine and the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. Gaze up at thousands of stars above you—you might even call it a thousand-star hotel—and settle into your cozy bed with a real mattress and a plush down comforter.

BREAKFAST IN THE SKYLODGE CAPSULES – ZIPLINE DESCENT

Wake up to one of the best views imaginable and look around—did you forget you slept hundreds of meters above the ground in a capsule bolted to a cliff? Enjoy an open-air breakfast and get ready to descend the mountain by zipline.

You’ll cross six ziplines that follow the same path you climbed yesterday to reach your unique suite, returning to the valley below. Say goodbye to your harness and helmet, and get ready for a delicious lunch featuring local flavors, surrounded by the beauty of the Andes.

This afternoon, take in the spectacular views of the legendary Salineras salt mines, as well as other majestic landscapes like deep gorges and towering mountains. At the end of the tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel for a relaxing free evening.

INCA TRAIL – MACHU PICCHU CITADEL

Today, get ready to follow in the footsteps of the Incas and proudly arrive at Machu Picchu on foot. We’ll pick you up early from your hotel and drive through the picturesque Sacred Valley to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you’ll board the luxurious Vistadome train.

You and your guide will disembark at Kilometer 104, the official start of the Inca Trail, and begin the charming uphill hike to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna. Along the way, your guide will point out orchids and other jungle flora; the Urubamba River will flow below your feet as you marvel at the strength and ingenuity of the Incas. At Wiñay Wayna, you’ll pause to explore and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. Then, the journey continues! A two-hour hike will lead you to Inti Punku, the famous Sun Gate.

You’ll climb one final stretch of stairs to reach this stone structure, where you’ll catch your breath—and lose it again—as you take in your first glimpse of Machu Picchu, nestled between steep peaks just below.

From there, descend triumphantly along ancient stone paths to the Lost City itself, marveling at the architectural brilliance of this breathtaking site. Finally, you’ll take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll check into your hotel. Your guide will leave you to rest, freshen up, and enjoy a well-earned and delicious dinner.

MACHU PICCHU – OPTIONAL (HUAYNA PICCHU OR MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN)

After a short bus ride to the gates of this Wonder of the World, you’ll pass through the main entrance with your private guide to finally arrive at the top of the world: Machu Picchu. The incredible Inca stonework will unfold before your eyes, hidden and revealed by drifting clouds. Your expert guide will accompany you on a private tour of the ancient city.

Today, you also have the option to hike one of two trails: Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, so you can choose how to end your luxurious Machu Picchu adventure. Please note that only a limited number of hikers are allowed on Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain each day, so you’ll need to purchase these tickets in advance along with your Machu Picchu entrance.

After your visit, descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Your Peru VIP Travel host will meet you at the station and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco, where you can enjoy a well-deserved night of rest.nso.

CUSCO CITY TOUR – WALK THROUGH ITS COLORFUL STREETS

This morning, we’ll head out to explore the hills surrounding Cusco by mountain bike! Strap on your helmet and let’s go! You’ll ride through the expansive Sacsayhuamán National Park. Keep an eye out for little-known and rarely visited Inca ruins along the way.

After lunch, continue your journey through Cusco, a picturesque city beloved by travelers from around the world. Stroll through its cobbled streets with your guide, who will help you uncover the rich history of this colonial gem. As you explore the city’s highlights—like the Qoricancha and the Santo Domingo Monastery, a colonial structure built atop the ancient Inca Temple of the Sun—you’ll gain insight into Cusco’s impressive cultural fusion.

Wander through the atmospheric streets of the bohemian San Blas neighborhood, known for its free-spirited vibe; visit the bustling San Pedro Market where locals do their shopping; and pause to admire the famous 12-Angled Stone, whose image appears on the label of the local Cusqueña beer.

RAFTING IN THE CHUQUICAHUANA RIVER

After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you through the hills surrounding Cusco into the beautiful Andean countryside. You’ll pass by fields where cows and sheep graze, adobe houses, and colonial churches. Enjoy the peaceful rural landscape and the fresh air of the countryside.

After about ninety minutes, you’ll arrive at the small town of Chuquicahuana, where you’ll receive a safety briefing and instructions to begin your adventure on the Upper Urubamba. Together, you’ll prepare the gear and inflate the rafts before gearing up and setting off.

You’ll spend about three hours paddling down the river as a team, surrounded by stunning scenery: arid mountains, green fields, small farms, and vast blue skies. You’ll tackle exciting Class III and IV rapids—get ready to get a little wet and have a lot of fun!

At the end of the ride, enjoy a picnic lunch by the river, then relax during the drive back to your hotel in Cusco, where you’ll have the rest of the evening free to rest or continue exploring at your own pace.

HIKE TO THE FAMOUS RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Today we’ll start early—so make sure you’re well rested! You’ll be picked up before sunrise for a scenic 3.5-hour drive through picturesque Andean communities outside of Cusco.

Upon arriving at the trailhead, you’ll begin your hike through landscapes of indescribable beauty. You’ll pass small villages and farmlands cultivated by local farmers who proudly live in this majestic environment. Breathe in the pure mountain air and move at your own pace. While the trail isn’t technically difficult, the high altitude requires a slow and steady rhythm.

After about three hours of hiking, you’ll face the final ascent to the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. The last hundred meters can be challenging, but the view at the top is worth every step: a natural explosion of color painting the earth beneath the high mountain sky.

You’ve reached 5,200 meters (17,060 feet) above sea level! Take your time to rest, breathe deeply, and snap a memorable photo with the mineral rainbow and Andes in the background.

When you’re ready, begin your descent along the same trail. Now with more energy, you’ll have the chance to pause and admire the vastness of this unique landscape. At the end of the hike, enjoy a relaxing drive back to Cusco, where a well-deserved free afternoon awaits—whether to rest or continue exploring at your own pace.

FLIGHT TO LIMA – PARAGLIDING IN MIRAFLORES

This morning, you can continue exploring the charming city of Cusco or simply relax and enjoy the comfort of your hotel. Around midday, at the scheduled time, we’ll transfer you to the Cusco airport for your flight back to Lima.

Upon arrival, a Peru VIP Travel representative will greet you and take you to the Miraflores boardwalk, where your instructor will provide a safety briefing before your thrilling tandem paragliding flight.

Run into the sky and take in stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the modern coastal district of Miraflores, with its manicured parks, peaceful surfers, and unbeatable views of Lima. After your flight, you’ll have free time to keep exploring the neighborhood at your own pace and enjoy dinner at one of its renowned restaurants.

FLIGHT OVER THE NAZCA LINES – HUACACHINA OASIS

After a nourishing breakfast, your Peru VIP Travel private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel. You’ll then set out on a road adventure through Peru’s arid but stunning countryside. After approximately four hours, you’ll arrive in Ica, where you’ll board a small plane for a thrilling flight over the world-famous Nazca Lines.

Created by the Nazca people between 400 and 650 A.D., the purpose of these massive geoglyphs remains a mystery. Experts suspect they were connected to Nazca cosmology and religious worship—but you can form your own theory as you fly over them! After approximately 90 minutes, you’ll land and head to the iconic Huacachina Oasis.

This desert oasis, with its palm-lined lagoon and rolling sand dunes as far as the eye can see, is home to some of the best dune buggy adventures in the world. Put on your sunglasses and get ready for a wild ride. Cruise the dunes and take part in an adrenaline-filled sandboarding session before pausing to watch the sunset over the endless golden hills.

You’ll then return to the oasis, where your private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Paracas, about 40 minutes away.

PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE – FLIGHT HOME

Paracas, with its incredible biodiversity, beautiful coastal landscapes, and remote location, is often referred to as the “mini Galápagos” of Peru. This exceptional destination offers the opportunity to get up close to Peru’s coastal wildlife. We’ll pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to the port on the Paracas Peninsula. There, you’ll board a speedboat for a scenic ride through an area famously known as Peru’s “mini-Galápagos.”

Here, the cold, plankton-rich Humboldt Current meets warmer tropical waters, creating ideal feeding zones for a wide variety of wildlife: pelicans, flamingos, Inca terns, sea lions, penguins, hammerhead sharks, and even whales. As you cruise toward the islands, you’ll spot the mysterious and ancient geoglyph known as the Candelabra.

Your guide will explain the various theories surrounding its creation and meaning, though its origin remains a mystery. After about 35 minutes, you’ll return to the port and continue your journey in a private vehicle, enjoying a relaxing ride back to the capital.

At the designated time, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Your Peru VIP Travel host will assist with your international check-in and wish you a safe journey.
