We\u2019ll continue on to Moray, an extraordinary complex of circular terraces considered an Inca agricultural laboratory. Its design demonstrates the Incas\u2019 advanced knowledge of experimenting with crops and adapting them to different altitudes and climatic conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first stop will be at the Taray viewpoint, where we\u2019ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley, surrounded by mountains, farmlands, and Andean communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll continue on to Pisac, where we\u2019ll discover its impressive agricultural terraces and remnants of Inca architecture. Then we\u2019ll visit its traditional artisan market, where local artisans offer textiles, ceramics, and pieces representative of Andean culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, prepared with fresh local produce, before continuing on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, we\u2019ll embark on one of the most anticipated experiences of the trip: a visit to Machu Picchu, the legendary Inca citadel and one of the greatest symbols of Peruvian heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll head to the train station (San Pedro, Poroy, or Ollantaytambo) to board our train bound for Aguas Calientes. During the journey, we\u2019ll enjoy a scenic ride through green mountains, lush vegetation, and along the Urubamba River, which accompanies us on the way to this magical destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting to begin the bus ride up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Along the way, we\u2019ll take in breathtaking views of the Urubamba River Canyon and the natural surroundings of the citadel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon entering, we\u2019ll take a guided tour lasting approximately two hours, exploring the main areas of Machu Picchu, such as the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Condor, ceremonial plazas, and Inca terraces. We\u2019ll discover the history, architecture, and mysteries of this extraordinary masterpiece of Inca civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very early in the morning, we\u2019ll set out on our adventure to one of Cusco\u2019s most breathtaking natural landscapes: the majestic Humantay Lake, nestled among the mountains and snow-capped peaks of the Andes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our team will pick you up at your hotel between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. to begin the journey to Mollepata, a picturesque village in the Apur\u00edmac River Valley, where we\u2019ll enjoy breakfast before continuing on our way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll arrive at Soraypampa, at 3,900 meters above sea level, the starting point of the hike to the lagoon. During the ascent, we\u2019ll enjoy unique Andean landscapes, accompanied by the imposing Salkantay snow-capped peak and the region\u2019s natural beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of hiking, we\u2019ll reach the spectacular Humantay Lake, located at 4,200 meters above sea level, famous for its turquoise waters and the breathtaking surroundings. We\u2019ll have time to take in the scenery, take photos, and learn more about this place from our guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the visit, we\u2019ll return to Mollepata to enjoy lunch with spectacular views of the snow-capped Andean peaks before beginning our return journey to Cusco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our journey will begin toward Cusipata, where we\u2019ll enjoy stunning views of the Andean countryside, traditional communities, and the majestic mountains surrounding Cusco along the way. After breakfast, we\u2019ll continue to the starting point of the hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the ascent, we\u2019ll discover unique Andean scenery, accompanied by llamas and alpacas alongside their local herders, who preserve their traditions and ancestral attire. In the distance, the imposing snow-capped Ausangate will take center stage in this extraordinary landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
