We\u2019ll continue to the Qoricancha, known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the holiest sites in the Inca world, where ancient architecture blends with colonial heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour will continue outside the city with a visit to Sacsayhuam\u00e1n, an impressive ceremonial site renowned for its enormous, perfectly fitted stone blocks, and to the archaeological complex of Qenqo, associated with ancient Andean rituals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, we\u2019ll set out on a day dedicated to discovering some of the most fascinating treasures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, combining Andean landscapes, ancient history, and living traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our first stop will be the Maras Salt Mines, an impressive complex of thousands of salt pools located on the mountainside. This ancient system, used since pre-Inca times, continues to operate thanks to the work of local communities that keep this tradition alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll continue on to Moray, an enigmatic complex of circular terraces considered an Inca agricultural laboratory. Its design allowed for experimentation with different crops and microclimates, demonstrating this civilization\u2019s advanced knowledge of engineering and agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first stop will be at the Taray viewpoint, where we\u2019ll enjoy a panoramic view of the valley, surrounded by mountains, farmlands, and Andean communities that keep their traditions alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll continue on to Pisac, where we\u2019ll discover its impressive agricultural terraces and Inca structures built into the mountainside. Afterward, we\u2019ll visit its traditional artisan market, a place known for its textiles, ceramics, and products crafted by local artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ll enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, prepared with fresh ingredients from the Sacred Valley, before continuing on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Inca Empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today you\u2019ll have one of the most memorable experiences of your trip: a visit to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most iconic legacy of the Inca civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After breakfast, we\u2019ll head to the train station (San Pedro, Poroy, or Ollantaytambo) to begin our journey to Aguas Calientes. During the journey, we\u2019ll enjoy spectacular Andean scenery, including mountains covered in lush vegetation, crystal-clear rivers, and the majestic natural surroundings of the Sacred Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival, our expert guide will accompany us on the bus ride up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where we\u2019ll take in breathtaking views of the Urubamba River canyon and the mountains surrounding the citadel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon entering, we\u2019ll take a guided tour lasting approximately two hours, exploring the sanctuary\u2019s main areas, such as the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Condor, ceremonial plazas, and agricultural terraces.
