Then, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history by visiting the Convent of San Francisco, an outstanding architectural work of the 17th century. Upon arrival in the imperial city, a representative will give you a warm welcome and transfer you to your hotel. During the ride, enjoy an introduction to this historic city. Upon arrival at the hotel, a comforting coca tea will be waiting for you, a perfect drink to acclimatize to the altitude and begin this adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the afternoon, we will enter the ancient Inca capital. We will start by visiting the emblematic Plaza de Armas. Then, we will head to the Santo Domingo Convent, also known as the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will transfer by bus to the archaeological site of Pisaq (1 hour), located at the top of the highest mountain in the town of the same name. Here we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and in the village we will visit its handicraft market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Continuing with the trip, we will head to the city of Urubamba passing through picturesque traditional villages along the way and other places of great natural beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will arrive in Urubamba at noon and pause to enjoy an exquisite lunch, allowing us to recharge our batteries before the next phase of our adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a delicious breakfast in the morning we will be ready for this exciting adventure, we will depart at the appointed time to the train station (San Pedro, Poroy or Ollantaytambo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will board the train to the charming town of Aguas Calientes, enjoying an impressive landscape, full of vegetation, flora, green mountains and the Urubamba River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting for you, and together we will board the bus that will take us to the Machu Picchu checkpoint for a 30 minute ride, on the way we will have spectacular views of mountains and the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will enjoy a first view of the sanctuary, together with our guide we will immerse ourselves in the history, architecture and mysteries of Machu Picchu during a tour of approximately 2 hours, visiting its highlights such as the Intihuatana, the temple of the Condor among others. We will have free time to explore on our own and immerse ourselves in the unique energy of this wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will be waiting for you to give you a warm welcome and then embark for 1 hour and 30 minutes by boat along the Madre de Dios River until you arrive at the lodge. We will enjoy a tasty lunch made with organic ingredients and native flavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After lunch we will take a walk along the natural trails, learn about the primary and secondary forest, its components, uses, man-made transformations, and its relevance to the world. On the way, we will enjoy the incredible opportunity to witness the beautiful sunrise. Arriving at the macaw clay lick, we will witness one of the most beautiful natural spectacles in the world, where hundreds of parrots of different species (11 in total) come to eat clay from the wall adjacent to the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the way back, we will have the opportunity to see ronsocos, sachavacas, monkeys and peccaries. We will also have time to swim in the refreshing waters of the Amazon River. In the evening, we will get ready to rest after having lived such a beautiful day full of experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PUERTO MALDONADO (183M) – LAKE SANDOVAL<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nToday will be a day with many emotions, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will get ready for a hike along the Tambopata National Reserve to Sandoval Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here we will understand why Madre de Dios is known as the biodiversity capital of Peru. We will learn about the conservation work of the Reserve and about the formation of the lake, we will navigate by canoe through this mirror of water, home of the endangered giant otter, the blue macaw, the yellow macaw, and one of the largest freshwater fish in the world “the Paiche”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After this adventure we will go deep into the heart of the reserve,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will return and enjoy a refreshing drink before taking a nap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evening we will have an interesting night excursion, we will navigate the Madre de Dios River, to learn about its ecosystem, the Amazonian gorges, the behavior of the nocturnal fauna on the riverbanks. Our day will end with a traditional dinner in the dining room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a delicious breakfast in the morning we will be ready for this exciting adventure, we will depart at the appointed time to the train station (San Pedro, Poroy or Ollantaytambo).<\/p>\n\n\n\nWe will board the train to the charming town of Aguas Calientes, enjoying an impressive landscape, full of vegetation, flora, green mountains and the Urubamba River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting for you, and together we will board the bus that will take us to the Machu Picchu checkpoint for a 30 minute ride, on the way we will have spectacular views of mountains and the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will enjoy a first view of the sanctuary, together with our guide we will immerse ourselves in the history, architecture and mysteries of Machu Picchu during a tour of approximately 2 hours, visiting its highlights such as the Intihuatana, the temple of the Condor among others. We will have free time to explore on our own and immerse ourselves in the unique energy of this wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the enriching visit, we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch (not included).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To conclude this unique experience, we will board the train to Ollantaytambo, where our representative will meet us and take us back to our hotel in Cusco. This quiet and comfortable closing marks the end of a day full of discoveries in the majestic Machupicchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the agreed time, our team will pick you up at your hotel to accompany you to the airport, where you will take your flight to Puerto Maldonado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will be waiting for you to give you a warm welcome and then embark for 1 hour and 30 minutes by boat along the Madre de Dios River until you arrive at the lodge. We will enjoy a tasty lunch made with organic ingredients and native flavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After lunch we will take a walk along the natural trails, learn about the primary and secondary forest, its components, uses, man-made transformations, and its relevance to the world. Ending at night where we will have the opportunity to observe the behavior of nocturnal flora and fauna of the Amazon. DAY 8: Guacamayos<\/div>\nPUERTO MALDONADO (183M) – COLLPA OF GUACAMAYOS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We wake up very early in the morning to head to the largest macaw clay lick in the world. On the way, we will enjoy the incredible opportunity to witness the beautiful sunrise. Arriving at the macaw clay lick, we will witness one of the most beautiful natural spectacles in the world, where hundreds of parrots of different species (11 in total) come to eat clay from the wall adjacent to the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the way back, we will have the opportunity to see ronsocos, sachavacas, monkeys and peccaries. We will also have time to swim in the refreshing waters of the Amazon River. In the evening, we will get ready to rest after having lived such a beautiful day full of experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 9: Sandoval Lake<\/div>\nPUERTO MALDONADO (183M) – LAKE SANDOVAL<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Today will be a day with many emotions, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will get ready for a hike along the Tambopata National Reserve to Sandoval Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here we will understand why Madre de Dios is known as the biodiversity capital of Peru. We will learn about the conservation work of the Reserve and about the formation of the lake, we will navigate by canoe through this mirror of water, home of the endangered giant otter, the blue macaw, the yellow macaw, and one of the largest freshwater fish in the world “the Paiche”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After this adventure we will go deep into the heart of the reserve,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will return and enjoy a refreshing drink before taking a nap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evening we will have an interesting night excursion, we will navigate the Madre de Dios River, to learn about its ecosystem, the Amazonian gorges, the behavior of the nocturnal fauna on the riverbanks. Our day will end with a traditional dinner in the dining room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
