This exceptional destination offers the opportunity to get up close to Peru\u2019s coastal wildlife. We\u2019ll pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to the port on the Paracas Peninsula. There, you’ll board a speedboat for a scenic ride through an area famously known as Peru\u2019s \u201cmini-Gal\u00e1pagos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here, the cold, plankton-rich Humboldt Current meets warmer tropical waters, creating ideal feeding zones for a wide variety of wildlife: pelicans, flamingos, Inca terns, sea lions, penguins, hammerhead sharks, and even whales. As you cruise toward the islands, you\u2019ll spot the mysterious and ancient geoglyph known as the Candelabra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your guide will explain the various theories surrounding its creation and meaning, though its origin remains a mystery. After about 35 minutes, you\u2019ll return to the port and continue your journey in a private vehicle, enjoying a relaxing ride back to the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
