Today you\u2019ll enjoy one of the most anticipated experiences of your trip. After breakfast, you\u2019ll be transferred to the train station (San Pedro, Poroy, or Ollantaytambo) to begin your journey to Aguas Calientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the train ride, you\u2019ll enjoy unique Andean landscapes: mountains covered in vegetation, the Urubamba River winding alongside the route, and a gradual transition toward the jungle\u2019s edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival, your guide will assist you in boarding the bus that ascends to Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 30 minutes with spectacular views of the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inside the citadel, you\u2019ll take a guided tour lasting about 2 hours, exploring its main areas\u2014such as the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Condor, and the agricultural terraces\u2014while discovering the history, architecture, and significance of this sanctuary, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afterward, you\u2019ll have free time to explore the site at your own pace and enjoy the unique energy of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the tour, you\u2019ll descend to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch (not included), before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our team will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Cusco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
