During the Inca Empire it was the Palace of the Inca Viracocha.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between 1560 and 1664, builders constructed the cathedral using blocks of red stones transported from Saqsayhuaman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Considered one of the two most important monuments in Latin America, the cathedral exhibits Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance features in its construction.
