The city is surrounded by twelve volcanoes, among them: Pichincha, Cotopaxi, Antisana, Cayambe, which form a majestic Andean contour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The historic center of Quito is probably the largest in Latin America, not only for its size but also for the architectural monuments it contains.
