Day 2 – La Paz

Day 3 – Tiahuanaco

Day 4 – La Paz – Potosi

This morning, we will assist you in transferring to the airport for a short flight to Potosi, a high-altitude city that was once a thriving silver mining center. Although mining activity has declined, this city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, still retains its colonial charm. Impressive churches, elegant architecture and the magnificent Royal Mint are ready to welcome you.
Day 5 – Potosi
Explore Potosi and its Silver Mines
After breakfast, embark on your journey in and around Potosí, beginning with a visit to the mineral-rich mountain of Cerro Rico. According to legend, this peak produced enough silver to build a massive silver bridge from Potosí to Madrid.
Venture into the heart of the mountain to explore the silver mines that helped finance Spain’s South American Empire. Learn about the fascinating history of silver production in Bolivia and discover how these mines continue to contribute to the local economy.
Back in the city, enjoy a tour of the Royal Mint. See the old wooden machinery used to mint silver coins for Spain during colonial times. Then, complete your day with a private guided tour of the Santa Teresa Museum and other highlights of the city.
Day 6 – Potosi to Sucre

Leave Potosí and embark on a scenic road trip through Bolivia to the constitutional capital, Sucre.
Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery as you leisurely drive through the countryside. Upon arrival in Sucre, our team will escort you to the hotel and assist you with check-in, so you can relax for the rest of the day.
Day 7 – Sucre
Discover Sucre and Connect with a Local Community
After breakfast, you will be met by a local guide for a private tour of the city. Explore the fascinating exhibits at the Casa de la Libertad museum, visit the San Felipe convent and enjoy the breathtaking views from the Mirador de la Recoleta. Stroll through the city’s picturesque streets, admiring the colonial architecture, imposing churches and manicured gardens of Bolivar Park.
Once you have thoroughly explored the city, you will head to the community of Jatun Yampara to immerse yourself in one of the continent’s oldest cultures. Day 8 – Sucre to Santa Cruz

If you feel like it, explore the city, visit its museums and galleries, and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants. Or, if you prefer a quieter day, simply relax in the warm tropical sunshine by the hotel pool.
Day 9 – San Javier and Concepción

The first stop is Mission San Javier, the oldest of the six sites. Erected in the mid-18th century, this mission has been restored to its former splendor, offering you a unique historical experience.

Day 10 – Concepción to Santa Cruz

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey with an exciting guided bus tour. Make a stop in San Javier to sample the exquisite locally produced coffee, before ending this adventure at your tranquil hotel in Santa Cruz.
Day 11 – Santa Cruz to Cochabamba

Day 12 – Cochabamba
Cochabamba, Visit the Christ of Concord
This morning, immerse yourself in the charms of Cochabamba during a guided city tour highlighting its most important sites. Stroll along the modern El Prado boulevard until you reach the main square, where you can admire the imposing cathedral.
Explore the fascinating exhibits at the Museo Arqueológico de la Universidad de San Simón and the Museo de Historia Natural Alcides D’Orbigny. Then, immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere as your guide takes you to the sprawling La Cancha market, so large it even has its own zip code.
Conclude the tour with a thrilling cable car ride or a steep 2000-step hike to reach the Christ of Concord, one of the tallest statues of Christ in the world. This imposing monument, completed in 1994, surpasses the famous Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro in height by 14 feet. From the Cristo de Cochabamba, you can enjoy sweeping views of the city and the majestic Bolivian Andes.
